Thursday, Dec. 5
8:08 a.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident in Lot 13.
8:12 a.m.: Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Museum. An employee accidentally
activated the burglar alarm.
8:32 a.m.: Officers responded to Nursing/Chemistry in reference to a sick person. EMS
responded but did not transport.
11:03 a.m.: Officers responded to Dining Commons in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm was
activated due to a faulty smoke detector.
11:44 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the Russell Union – Student Leadership.
This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
3:50 p.m.: Officers assisted Heath Services with the transportation of a sick person.
4:32 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident in the Russell
Union parking lot.
5:33 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident – hit and run
in Lot 11.
7:11 p.m.: Officers responded to Dining Commons in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm was
activated due to smoke from an AC duct.
11:58 p.m.: Officers discovered a subject attempting to make entry into a Georgia Southern
University police car in the University Plaza parking lot. The subject, Lori Leona Gronemeyer,
19, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol – Under 21 Years of
Age & False ID.
12:13 a.m.: Officer responded to Southern Pines in reference to an intoxicated subject. Paul
Franklin Smith, 19, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol –
Under 21 Years of Age and Possession of Marijuana – misdemeanor.
1:25 a.m.: Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with an incident at Campus
Crossings apartments. Two subjects were judicially referred for drug violations.
4:21 a.m.: Officers responded to the Center for Art & Theater in reference to a burglar alarm.
The building was checked with no problems found.
Friday, Dec. 6
9:31 a.m.: Officers responded to a panic alarm at Freedom’s Landing. The residence was
checked with no problems found.
11:21 a.m.: Criminal Investigations arrested Bradley Michel Blain, 18, Statesboro, Ga., at
Kennedy Hall in reference to arrest warrants for Sell of Marijuana – 3 counts and Unlawful Use
of a Communication Device – 2 counts.
12:09 p.m.: An incident report was taken for damage to property that occurred on the pathway
between the College of Education and Forest Drive.
3:34 p.m.: Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with an incident at Fred’s in the
College Plaza.
4:37 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass at the Russell Union loading dock
parking area. This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
6:23 p.m.: Officers responded to Deal Hall in reference to a burglar alarm. The alarm was
accidentally activated by an employee.
10:01 p.m.: An incident report was taken for theft of unattended property at Eagle Village –
laundry room. This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
10:38 p.m.: Officers made contact with individuals at the University Villas gazebo. Eight
subjects were judicially referred for alcohol violations.
Saturday, Dec. 7
12:25 a.m.: Officers discovered an intoxicated subject on Georgia Ave. leaning his forehead
against a light pole. The intoxicated subject was judicially referred.
12:32 a.m.: Officers responded to Centennial Place in reference to alcohol violations. Two
occupants were judicially referred for alcohol violations.
1:01 a.m.: Officers responded to a sick person located between the Foy Building and the Russell
Union. EMS responded and transported the sick person. The sick person was judicially referred
for an alcohol violation.
2:24 a.m.: Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with an incident (aggravated
assault) that occurred at the Willow Bend apartments. Georgia Southern University police
officers conducted a traffic stop of the offenders on Lanier Drive and turned the offenders over to
the Statesboro Police Department.
4:06 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on Lanier Drive at Chandler Road. The driver of
the vehicle, Clinton James Collins, 23, Metter, Ga., was arrested and charged with Failure to
Maintain Lane and DUI 2nd Offense.
4:56 p.m.: Officers responded to a fire alarm at Watson Pods. The room was checked with no
problems found.
5 p.m.: Officers responded to the Russell Union in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm was
activated due to a faulty sensor.
10:23 p.m.: Officers assisted the Statesboro Police Department with a traffic stop on Lanier
Drive.
11:06 p.m.: Officers responded to the Phi Mu House in reference to a panic alarm. Contact was
made with occupants who advised there were no problems.
Sunday, Dec. 8
12:13 a.m.: Officers responded to Plant Drive near the Performing Arts Center in reference to
a sick person. EMS responded and transported the sick person. The sick person was judicially
referred for an alcohol violation.
12:31 a.m.: Officers judicially referred the ATO House for failure to have a sober drive available
at all times during a party.
6:50 a.m.: Officers responded to the Garden of the Coastal Plains Administration Building in
reference to a burglar alarm. The building was checked with no problems found.
3:03 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass at Centennial Place. This case
was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
Monday, Dec. 9
9:02 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a suspicious incident at Math/Physics.
10:49 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass at Centennial Place. This case
was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
10:48 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at Eagle Village Building 1. This case was
assigned to Criminal Investigations.
11:22 a.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at Brannen Hall.
11:48 a.m.: Officers responded to an injured person at Centennial Place. EMS responded but did
not transport.
5:06 p.m.: Officers responded to a drug complaint at Centennial Place. One occupant was
judicially referred.
10:25 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property/damage to property in Lot 41.
10:33 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a burglary – non-forced entry (door left unlocked)
at Kennedy Hall. This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
2:08 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on Sweetheart Circle for a vehicle traveling in the
wrong direction. The driver of the vehicle was issued two traffic citations, one traffic warning
and the vehicle was towed for a suspended registration.
Tuesday, Dec. 10
9:42 a.m.: Officers responded to a sick person at Eagle Village. EMS responded and transported
the sick person.
10:17 a.m.: An incident report was taken for an entering auto at University Villas. This case was
assigned to Criminal Investigations.
11:15 a.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at the Wildlife Center.
11:31 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a simple battery at the College of Education. This
case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
12:14 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a suspicious incident at the University Villas
Clubhouse. One subject was judicially referred.
3:02 p.m.: An incident report was taken for theft of unattended property at the RAC. This case
was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
5:23 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident at Southern
Pines.
5:57 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a drug complaint at Centennial Place. This case was

12:42 a.m.: Officers made contact with an intoxicated subject at Centennial Place. Dylan
Michael Streets, 18, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcohol –
Under 21 Years of Age & False ID.
1:27 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on Fair Road at East Georgia Regional Medical
Center. The driver of the vehicle, Toni Bridgette Cook, 22, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and
charged with Seat Belt Violation, Improper Starting, Failure to Maintain Lane & DUI 1st
2:27 a.m.: Officers responded to a sick person at Eagle Village. EMS responded and transported
the sick person. The sick person was judicially referred for an alcohol violation.
Wednesday, Dec. 11
1:30 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at the Russell Union.
6:24 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident in Lot 32.
7:11 p.m.: An incident report was taken for theft of two bikes at the Eagle Village 2 bike rack.
This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
8:01 p.m.: An incident report was taken for theft of unattended property at the Foy Building.
This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
10:06 p.m.: An incident report was taken for harassment at Eagle Village. This case was assigned

11:43 p.m.: Officers responded to Centennial Place Building 1 in reference to a sick person.
EMS responded and transported the sick person.
12:40 a.m.: Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Phi Mu House. The occupant
accidentally activated the burglar alarm.
3:43 a.m.: Officers discovered an intoxicated subject in C-Lot. The intoxicated subject was
judicially referred.
7 a.m.: Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Center for Art & Theater. Contact was made
with a professor and no problems were found.
Thursday, Dec. 12
7:53 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass in J-Lot. This case was assigned
to Criminal Investigations.
8:45 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at Centennial Place Computer Lab. This case
was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
9:20 a.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at the Henderson Library.
9:25 a.m.: An incident report was taken for cruelty to animals at Watson Pods smoking area.
This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
9:47 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the Eagle Village bike rack. This case was
assigned to Criminal Investigations.
10:42 a.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at Public Safety.
4:54 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass at Paulson Parking. This case was
assigned to Criminal Investigations.
10:27 p.m.: Officers responded to University Villas Gazebo in reference to a drug complaint.
Four subjects were judicially referred. In addition to four subjects being judicially referred, the
following subject was arrested:
Nazir Bilal Wynn, Statesboro, Ga., and was charged with Possession of Marijuana –
misdemeanor & Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Friday, Dec. 13
1:20 a.m.: An incident report was taken for found property in C-Lot.
1:21 a.m.: Officers responded to an affray at Eagle Village Clubhouse. Two subjects were
arrested:
1. Alvin Christopher Mitchell, 18, Statesboro, Ga., was charged with Affray
and Possession of Alcohol – Under 21 Years of Age.
2. Tyler Maxwell Sandusky, 19, Statesboro, Ga., was charged with Affray and
Possession of Alcohol – Under 21 Years of Age.
10:30 a.m.: Officers responded to a sick person outside Hanner Fieldhouse. EMS responded but
did not transport.
11:03 p.m.: A vehicle was towed that was parked illegally in Lot 12.
1 p.m.: Criminal Investigations opened a case in reference to forgery and theft by deception.
3 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at Hanner Fieldhouse.
3:22 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a criminal trespass at University Villas. Two subjects
were judicially referred.
8:50 p.m.: Officers made contact with three subjects at Southern Courtyard Building 3. The three
subjects were identified and released.
9:15 p.m.: Officers made contact with two subjects at Southern Courtyard Building 3. The
subjects were identified and released.
11:30 p.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at Kennedy Hall.
Saturday, Dec. 14
9:38 a.m.: A welfare check was conducted on a subject at Eagle Village. The subject of the
welfare check was contacted and no problems found.
11:48 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop at The Cove at Southern. Two subjects were
arrested:
1. Guillermo Urieta, Jr., 17, Guyton, Ga., was charged with Headlights Required,
Seat Belt Violation, Open container of Alcohol, Driving in Violation of License
Restrictions, Removing License Plate, Unregistered Vehicle & DUI 1st
2. Christopher Yusef Slater, 31, Claxton, Ga., was arrested on warrants out
of Hinesville, Georgia.
Sunday, Dec 15
5:45 a.m.: Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Housing Storage Unit on South Main
Street. The building was checked with no problems found.
11:02 a.m.: Officers responded to Freedom’s Landing in reference to a sick person. The sick
person received additional medical assistance.
8:14 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop at the College Walk Apartments. The driver of the
vehicle was issued three traffic citations and a traffic warning. The vehicle was towed.
12:54 a.m.: Officers discovered an intoxicated person at a motor vehicle accident at the Football
Practice Fields. The intoxicated person, Christopher G. Roper, Statesboro, Ga., was arrested and
charged with Pedestrian Under the Influence and Public Indecency.
1:24 a.m.: An incident report was taken for found property on the sidewalk next to Dining
Commons.
Monday, Dec. 16
8:10 a.m.: An incident report was taken for the theft of a golf cart from Lot 21 and recovered in
C/E/J – Lot. This case was assigned to Criminal Investigations.
11:30 a.m.: An incident report was taken for found property at Southern Pines.
11:45 a.m.: Criminal Investigations initiated an investigation at Physical Plant Facilities
Services.
