October 8, 2019
Cornerback Monquavion Brinson and running back Logan Wright were injured in last Thursday’s South Alabama victory and are still being evaluated, as first reported by the Savannah Morning News.
Brinson went down in the fourth quarter in Mobile and had to be carried off. The senior is suffering a leg injury and is listed as day-to-day.
Wright is out 4-6 weeks, per SMN, with a neck injury. He will be looked at regularly.
Both players have played in all five games. Brinson has had 23 total tackles and three pass breakups.
Wright is the Eagles’ leading rusher with 294 yards, two touchdowns and 58.8 rushing yards per game.
