Redshirt-senior kicker Tyler Bass was named Sun Belt special teams player of the week, announced Monday.

Bass was 4-for-5 on field goals against the University of Maine, where the Eagles won 26-18. The captain was also 2-for-2 for PATs on the night.

The redshirt-senior also scored the three lone points for the Eagles against LSU with a 47-yard field goal.

Bass and the rest of the team will be back in action Saturday as they travel to take on Minnesota.
