Party for Pink
When: Tuesday, October 1 5:30 p.m.
Where: RAC 2-Court Gym
Dress in pink and head to the RAC to not only support breast cancer research and awareness, but also try out an amazing variety of classes such as Total Body, Zumba, POUND and Yoga! That’s not even to mention the free food and prizes. Really, there’s no reason to not go.
Latin Moves: Flamenco Dance Lesson
When: Tuesday, October 1 6:30 p.m.
Where: Group Workout Room
Bring a partner and learn this sassy Spanish dance! This is the second dance lesson hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs for Latino Heritage Celebration Month. Leave the heels at home, but don’t forget your student ID.
Men’s Soccer vs Jacksonville
When: Tuesday, October 1, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Where: Armstrong Soccer Field (Savannah, Ga)
Get to this game early because the first 100 students will receive a free t-shirt! The Eagles are taking on the Jacksonville Dolphins, and there will be a student tailgate before the game from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Also, did I mention the free food and games?
Fiesta Day
When: Wednesday October 2, 11:30 a.m.
Where: Residential Plaza outside Student Union
Free food from various Latin American countries? Game stations? Dancing? Count me in for the Office of Multicultural Affairs’ annual celebration of Latino Heritage Celebration Month! Don’t forget your Eagle ID.
Adventure Movie Night
When: Wednesday October 2, 7:00-9:30 p.m.
Where: RAC-Southern Adventures Center
Watch the adventure movie “An American Ascent” outdoors! Open to all GS faculty, staff and students, this annual event will be sure to energize you.
