STATESBORO—There was an on campus rape reported on Sunday morning to the Georgia Southern Police Department at Southern Pines university housing.

According to the GS Crime and Fire Log, the incident occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 5 a.m and was reported at 8:49 am. 

The case is still under investigation and the victim nor the other party have been identified.
