STATESBORO — Wednesday, September 30, is the final day to participate in the 2020 census, the results of which will affect the way the government will serve our community for the next 10 years.

Information collected in the census will determine the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, where the districts are drawn and how much federal funding goes towards a state’s schools, hospitals and roads.

Anyone wishing to participate in the 2020 census can do so quickly and easily by filling out the online census form.
