STATESBORO — The City of Statesboro and the East Georgia Healthcare Center plan on cutting down free COVID-19 testing at Luetta Moore Park as the demand for testing begins to slow.

After a little over a month since opening up the site, the free COVID-19 testing offered at the park on Tuesdays and Thursdays will now only be operating one day a week, taking both drive-ups and walk-ins.

Anyone can show up and be tested at Luetta Moore Park during their new hours on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon with no appointment needed.
