Georgia Southern University will be holding its second Food Truck event on Thursday at the Williams Center Plaza.

Russell Union’s Reservation Coordinator Kyndra Thompson said that four of the food trucks from the previous event will be returning, and will be joined by two new trucks to give attendees more options of savory main courses and deliciously sweet desserts to choose from.

The following food trucks will be on campus from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

  • Brunner Burritos and Bowls
  • Chazito’s
  • Roy’s Nutz and Buttz
  • 4 and 20 Bakery
  • Kona Shaved Ice
  • Big Boy Cookies

Thompson said the previous event, held on the Feb. 22, was an attempt to bring attention to the utility of the many areas on campus offered to students.

Thompson hopes the second food truck event will achieve this to an even greater degree.

“We just kinda wanted to show students you can utilize these spaces in a creative way.” Thompson said. “The first one went over well, so we thought we’d just do it again.”

Thompson confirmed that there are plans to hold a third food truck event in April and hopes to host even more food trucks than the other events.
