Georgia Southern University Parking and Transportation added a new option for students to pay for parking citations and permits using EagleXpress.

Georgia Southern Parking tweeted on Feb. 18 that students can access the new payment option through their MyGeorgiaSouthern accounts and clicking the “Parking and Transportation” link. From there, students can select EagleXpress as their payment method.

Derrick Davis, director Parking and Transportation, said students have been able to use EagleXpress in the Parking and Transportation office before, but the new feature allows them to use EagleXpress to pay online.

“You can pay for a permit or citation with EagleXpress whenever you would like,” Davis said. “You don’t have to come to our office to purchase permits or pay for citations.”

In the future, Davis said students can expect a new transportation app that allows them to monitor bus locations.
