GSU’s Southern Leaders earn outstanding recognition

Southern Leaders won a Gold Excellence Award from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. Southern Leaders teaches its members leadership skills through volunteer service and special projects.

Georgia Southern University’s Southern Leaders Program was named Outstanding Leadership Program of the Year by the Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.

 

Previously being awarded the NASPA Gold Level Excellence Award in 2019 and the Outstanding Program of the Year Award from the Association of Leadership Educators in 2018, GSU’s Southern Leaders are proud to have earned this recognition.

 

“This award demonstrates the dedication our knowledgeable and talented staff have to keep the Southern Leaders Program continually evolving.” Stated Director of the Office of Leadership and Community Engagement Jodi Kennedy in a press release. “I’m continually impressed by how our team works to create spaces for students to explore their leadership talents while also learning how to use them to better their communities.”
