Bad Weather Forces Vaccine Clinic Inside
ARC Temporarily Closed to Accommodate Vaccine Distribution
March 1, 2021
Armstrong campus’s vaccine station moved inside to the Armstrong Recreation Center (ARC), because of inclement weather expected on Tuesday, Mar 2.
In order to protect the privacy of the medical records of those receiving the vaccine and prevent anyone from overhearing sensitive information, the ARC mezzanine will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and gym floor will be closed until 3 p.m.
Because the vaccinations have moved inside, Arts Drive and the Science Center parking lot will resume normal operations.
“We apologize for the late notice and the inconvenience as we enact our vaccine distribution plan, in accordance with GDPH Phase 1A+ criteria,” Jennifer Wise, the Director of Communications and Marketing, said in a statement about the changes.
