A second Georgia Southern University professor has been accused of using the N-word toward a student in fall of 2017. GS student Brandon Pledger claims in a blog post that Rebecca Kennerly, associate professor on communication studies, used the N-word in conversation with him during the intermission of the play, “An Octoroon,” Pledger said in a blog post.
