WEEKLY UPDATE: GSU’s COVID-19 Numbers
Georgia Southern University (GSU) released updated COVID-19 case numbers on Monday, Aug. 30. The university has seen a significant spike in cases from the previous week, between Aug. 16 and Aug. 22.
The university self-reported 338 cases compared to 159 the week before. The university-confirmed cases rose to 96 cases from 29 cases from the previous week. 38 of the 434 total cases were recorded on Armstrong campus.
