What’s Next for the Averitt Center?

The Averitt Center, located in Downtown Statesboro, is beginning to reopen its doors and curtains to Statesboro. With the months getting cooler and the pandemic easing, they have taken the opportunity to release more events and shows to the public. Expect to see some of our favorite classics and some new releases.

The Armorettes Drag Show

See your favorite queens dance and sing…or lip-sync in support of the Humane Society.

October 16th at 7:30pm.

 

The Sound of Music

In the words of Maria Von Trapp “I can’t seem to stop singing wherever I am.” Check out the old classic The Sound Of Music.

The Nutcracker Ballet

Another familiar classic we all know. Join them for their performance just in time for Christmas.

November 18-21.

 

Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band

Reminisce the 70’s with this tribute band as you get ready to rock and roll in the new year.

January 8th at 7:30.

 

Matilda

Get ready for Matilda, The musical! Go along on a musical adventure with a young gifted girl.
