Student Leadership Cookout
The Office of Leadership and Community Engagement hosted an event on the Armstrong Campus in order to recruit students to get involved with the program for fall of 2022, as well as to congratulate a few of its active members in a medallion ceremony.
The event included a cookout where students could get free hotdogs, hamburgers, and snacks, as well as activities like a bounce house, a mechanical bull ride, and a dunk tank.
Delaia Reyes, a first year graduate student and Leadership Teaching Assistant, awarded several students with medallions and an accompanying speech during the event.
Students can get involved in Georgia Southern’s Leadership and Community Engagement program through leadership development, volunteering services, and Sustain Southern. Click the link to this division of student affairs webpage for more information.
