Students and faculty alike are invited to the upcoming Student Art Sale.

The event will be held on Monday, May 2 at the Armstrong Student Union.

According to Assistant Professor of Art, Casey Schachner, the sale will feature a myriad of artwork that ranges from pottery, jewelry, 2D art and much more.

“Some of the students selling artwork have made pieces in my Digital Dimensions class – where we work with 3D printers and laser cutters to design and create art,” Schachner advised me via email. “Other works of art are coming out of other art courses such as Ceramics, 3D Design, Fibers, Painting, Drawing, and Photography.”

There are up to 20 expected artists who are planning to exhibit their work. It is an event which is normally hosted by the Art Club. This year, Schachner is lending a helping hand.

The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the front porch of The Student Union.

“Please come out and support your local artists and fellow students at the sale – Monday May 2nd from 10 am – 4 pm!” Schachner wrote in closing.
