On September 15, 2022, the Georgia Southern Theater Department at Armstrong Campus will premiere their bi-annaul Last Laugh Improv Show.

Directors Hannah Dodson and Logan Western co-lead a group of 7 performers: veterans Ethan Goble, Ava Mueller, Cameron Corn, Cameron Saypack and Gabby Riley, and two “rookies,” Ben Longren and Nick Dillard.

“I believe this is one of the strongest groups we’ve had. We have a few veterans, then we also have two rookies that are just absolutely killing it.” Hannah Dodson said.

When asked what we can expect (without giving too much away, of course), Hannah says the great thing about the production is that the show will be different each night you see it. “It’s a mix of long-form and short-form improv; you’ll get to know the styles of the different performers.”

“I actually pulled some ideas for the games from Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza; I felt that it was easier to transfer to a college environment than “Whose Line is it Anyway?”

The show will run September 15th and 16th, 2022 at 7:30 pm in the International Gardens.

Anyone who wants to participate in the troupe for future semesters is invited to partake in the upcoming Open Improv Workshop on October 6th, 2022 at 5:30pm in Jenkins Hall.
