New EVP for enrollment management, marketing, and student success

Alejandra “Ale” Sosa Pieroni, named new EVP, plans for a brand refresh, a new website, and a new enrollment planning process. 

What we know: Sosa Pieroni previously worked for Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL), where she worked with colleges and universities to help them optimize their marketing, admissions, financial aid, and student success practices to achieve institutional objectives, according to an announcement from President Dr. Marrero.

Background information: Sosa Pieroni is originally from Venezuela. She recently got her citizenship after she’s been in the country for about 23 years.

  • “I’ve been at many colleges over the last six years and I can tell you what we have here, the dedication that this administration has to listen to your voices to make plans so that we can continue to be better,” said Sosa Pieroni in a staff council meeting on Friday, April 21. 

What’s next: “What’s coming up and the opportunities that we have with the non-traditional students, which is really going to become the traditional students of tomorrow,” said Sosa Pieroni.
