The Statesboro Mall will host their second annual “Color for a Cause” on Tuesday, March 13 to raise money and awareness in support of local organizations.

“We are excited to be holding this fun event for the second year in a row,” Coles Doyle, Marketing Director for Hull Property Group, said in a press release. “We want to use the Mall common areas for events that inspire shoppers, families and the community and Color for a Cause does just that.”

The event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the mall where organizations will be given a mural to color within two hours.

Guest judges will choose the most creative mural to win a prize donation. The chosen mural will be uploaded to wecolorforacause.com for the local community to vote the most creative mural to be showcased in the mall.

During the event shoppers can show their receipts to earn points for a participating organization. Color for a Cause will donate one dollar for each of the earned points.

The organization that earns the most points will receive an additional donation from ‘Color for a Cause’.

“We want to invite all local organizations to participate and spread awareness of the great work they do in the Statesboro community,” Doyle said in a press release.

To register an organization to be apart of ‘Color for a Cause’, visit wecolorforacause.com or email colorforacause@hullpg.com. Participating organizations will not be charged.
