For the first time, Georgia Southern’s homecoming parade was held off campus alongside the traditional Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair parade that takes place in the city.
What Happened: The parade saw some new and some familiar faces, as we witnessed a performance from the Southern Pride Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheerleaders, ROTC, and more. We also had an appearance from President Marrero!
- “I enjoyed being able to represent Georgia Southern and the Georgia Southern Pride Marching Band while also bringing the city together to celebrate homecoming and the fair,” said Jessica Wingate.
