Georgia Southern and Kiwanis Combine Homecoming Parade

For the first time, Georgia Southern’s homecoming parade was held off campus alongside the traditional Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair parade that takes place in the city.

What Happened: The parade saw some new and some familiar faces, as we witnessed a performance from the Southern Pride Marching Band, Color Guard, Cheerleaders, ROTC, and more. We also had an appearance from President Marrero!

  • “I enjoyed being able to represent Georgia Southern and the Georgia Southern Pride Marching Band while also bringing the city together to celebrate homecoming and the fair,” said Jessica Wingate.
