If You Need An Advisor Now

Some students are still having trouble reaching their academic advisor. If you are in a bind here’s what you need to do.

What You Need to Know:  There are still options if you cannot get in touch with your advisor.

According to Reggie Simpkins, Associate Vice President for Student Success and Interim Director of Advising, students can:

  • Go to their advisor’s drop in hours.
  •  Speak with an advising coordinator in their center of advising for their college or any of the staff within their advising center.

“If drop in hours don’t work for the student because of their class schedule, that’s when they need to go by that advising center,” said Simpkins.

Students can email advising@georgiasouthern.edu for more information.
