Models for the Decades of DIMES Fashion Show are set to own the runway in the Russel Union Theater on Feb. 28.

Decades of DIMES is a modeling exhibition hosted by the DIMES Fashion Organization on campus. DIMES stands for “Designs Inspired Magnificently Exhibited in Style.”

According to DIMES member Christian Haywood, the show, which lasts from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., exposes students to faded but eternal styles of fashion from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and early 2000s.

The show will feature an opening dance number by the Coalition Crew and an intermission number by the GSU Divas.

“The audience can expect a fun and upbeat runway/catwalk modeling with a great play on the theme,” Decades of DIMES organizer Bridgett David said.

The DIMES Fashion Organization was founded in 2002 to expose students to various aspects of the fashion industry, including modeling, cosmetology and public relations.

Tickets for the show are on sale for $3.10 online and $4 at the door. They are non-refundable. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
