The following gallery documents the 79th Annual Miss Georgia Southern University Scholarship Competition, a historic tradition that continues to bring Eagle Nation together. Hosted by the University Programming Board (UPB), the event featured 11 candidates who demonstrated that the competition is less about a crown and more about the lasting bonds of sisterhood and the opportunity to gain a platform that can impact others.
Kaitlyn Tanner, a junior exercise science major, was crowned the winner, earning a $2,000 scholarship for her commitment to being a well-rounded leader as well as her personal advocacy for the adoptive community.
