Terrier Intercollegiate Women’s Golf recap

The Georgia Southern Women’s Golf team placed fourth out of 10 teams at the Terrier Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford College. They ended the two-round competition with a total team score of 37-over.

Junior Iben Hvass led the Eagles, taking second place overall in Spartanburg. After shooting an even 72 in round one, Hvass ended the event at 3-over after shooting a 75 on Tuesday. Sophomore Ansley Bowman also cracked the top 20 individually, placing 17th with a combined score of 11-over.

The solid finish by the Lady Eagles concludes their fall 2016 campaign. They will next be in action in February at the Texas State Invitational.
