One Wednesday, December 23, 2015, Georgia Southern University played in our first Bowl Game in program history and we won.

The well earned trophy from the victory is currently located in the lobby of the Ted Smith Family Football Center, which is the building out front of the Paulson Stadium closest to the street.

This will not be where it will remain according to Bryan Johnston, Assistant Administrator for Athletics Communications said, “Eventually it will have a final resting place, where that is I cannot tell you right now.”

The trophy will be presented to the team at the men’s basketball game on January the 16th in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Since not everyone could be at the actual game in Mobile, Alabama, this is the students’ opportunity to celebrate the win.
