I checked the stock at Walmart so that you don’t have to
March 13, 2020
I’m Noelle Walker, editor-in-chief of The George-Anne Reflector Magazine. I went to the Walmart on Northside Drive around 3 p.m. Friday to stock up on supplies.
I pulled into the parking lot, and people were walking out of the store with shopping carts full of water, toilet paper and paper towels.
Aisles were crowded, especially aisles with toilet paper, cleaning supplies, canned soup and soap.
Toilet paper was almost completely out, except for a few packs of store-brand.
The soap, for a few bottles (not antibacterial) was completely sold out.
Walmart was out of:
- Antibacterial soap
- Hand sanitizer
- Rubbing alcohol
Walmart was almost completely out of:
- Toilet paper
- Baby wipes
- Paper towels
- Flushable wipes
I did not check the water aisle or the cleaning supplies aisle, but last week, they were completely out of Lysol wipes.
Canned foods were still in stock.
