2021 now holds the record as the deadliest year for transgender people in the United States.

At the end, we all blew out our candles in respect to those who lost their lives.

Wednesday November 17th was the Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil. We celebrated the trans lives we lost this year to violence.

We heard a few words from people such as Lorun Shepherd. They spoke about their feelings about finding community.

Next, we all read names of the people we lost to violence. Including those who we known personally.

Then held a moment of silence.
