STATESBORO — An 18-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection to a sexual assault that was reported at Georgia Southern University in November 2019.

Brandon Harris, from Evans, Georgia, was identified as the suspect in a sexual assault at University Villas reported to the GS Police Department on Nov. 17, 2019.

Harris is not a student at Georgia Southern University, according to a GS press release.

Harris turned himself in after police issued a warrant for his arrest on felony rape charges, according to the press release.
