Georgia Southern University men’s golf team had three new players sign Nation Letters of Intent for the 2014-15 season, announced today by Director of Golf/Men’s Golf Coach Larry Mays.

Archer Price from Gastonia, N.C., Jake Storey from Alnwick, England and Andrew Klasing from Charlotte, N.C. all signed to play for the Eagles next season.

“We have signed three outstanding young men who have all achieved great things over the past few years in many different realms of golf and coach Carter Collins and I are eager to put the Eagle logo on this group next year,” Mays said in a news release.

“Archer is a top-40 recruit in the 2014 class from North Carolina who has excelled at the National level as a junior.  Jake brings international experience from the English National Team along with a long list of accomplishments in tournaments in the UK,” Mays said in a news release. “Andrew has been a top performer at the JUCO level the past year and a half and is ready to perform at the Division I level.  All of this experience and talent will pay dividends for our program for years to come.”

Price is currently ranked 38th in the country in the 2014 high school class in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.

Storey is a member of England’s National Team and currently ranked 123rd in the European Golf Ranking.

Klasing is a junior transfer from Central Alabama Community College.
