Football loses two players for Chattanooga game
September 26, 2013
Georgia Southern University football will be missing two players in its matchup this weekend against University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
GSU head coach Jeff Monken suspended freshman kicker Connor Tierney for one game for violation of team rules. Tierney should rejoin the team for next week’s game at Samford University.
In addition to the loss of Tierney for a game, GSU’s already depleted running back corps has taken another hit as freshman running back Chris Jordan has been dismissed from the team.
