Friday, March 1
8:04 a.m.: An incident report was taken for lost/mislaid property at Postal Services.
11:06 a.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at The NEST. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
4:03 p.m.: Officers responded to Southern Pines in reference to an unwanted person. One subject was banned from campus.
4:53 p.m.: Officers responded to the Delta Tau Delta house in reference to a criminal trespass. This case has been turned over to criminal investigations.
5:20 p.m.: Officers responded to the RAC in reference to an injured person. EMS transported the injured person.
10:11 p.m.: Officers responded to Centennial Place in reference to an unwanted person. Two occupants were judicially referred and one subject was banned from campus.
Saturday, March 2
12:22 a.m.: An officer discovered an intoxicated person in J Lot. The intoxicated person, Davis Evans Ponder, 17, was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol under 21 years of age and giving false information to an officer.
12:42 a.m.: Officers responded to Centennial Place in reference to a drug complaint. Two occupants were arrested: Stephen Michael Nail, 19, charged with possession of marijuana – less than 1 ounce. Shannon Dion Beard II, 19, charged with possession of marijuana – less than 1 ounce. Two other occupants were judicially referred.
1:05 a.m.: Officers responded to Eagle Village Clubhouse in reference to an intoxicated person. The intoxicated person: Zachary Ryan Looney, 19, was charged with possession of alcohol under 21 years of age.
7:35 a.m.: Officers responded to the Hollis Building in reference to a fire alarm. The Statesboro Fire Department and maintenance responded. The building was checked with no problems found.
9:06 a.m.: Officers responded to the Henderson Library in reference to a suspicious incident/person. Officers investigated the complaint with no suspicious incident/person located.
9:09 a.m.: Officers discovered an intoxicated person in Eagle Village. The intoxicated person was judicially referred.
10:34 a.m.: Officers assisted the Statesboro Police with an incident at the Seasons Apartments.
12:08 p.m.: An incident report was taken for a theft at the RAC. This case was assigned to criminal investigations.
1:22 p.m.: Officers responded to Centennial Place in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm was activated by smoke from a resident cooking. The Statesboro Fire Department checked the building with no other problems found.
3:00 p.m.: Officers responded to Freedom’s Landing in reference to a welfare check.
3:27 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was taken for a motor vehicle accident on Sweetheart Circle.
6:06 p.m.: An incident report was taken for damage to property in C Lot.
8:49 p.m.: Officers responded to a fire alarm at Centennial Place. The alarm was activated by smoke from a resident cooking. The Statesboro Fire Department and maintenance responded.
9:53 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on Chandler Road at Olympic Blvd. The driver, Deon Dondre Allen, 19, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and headlights required.
Sunday, March 3
2:36 a.m.: Officers responded to the Center for Art & Theater in reference to a fire alarm. Maintenance responded. The building was checked with no problems found.
3:29 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop in Paulson Parking. A consent to search was completed. The driver was issued a traffic citation for failure to obey a traffic control device.
1:12 p.m.: Officers responded to a fire alarm at Kennedy Hall in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm was activated by smoke from a resident cooking.
4:48 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident report was completed for a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Plant Drive.
8:20 p.m.: Officers responded to the Market at Centennial Place in reference to a low temperature alarm. The alarm was activated by employees cleaning a freezer.
Monday, March 4
6:26 a.m.: Officers responded to Einstein Bagel Shop in reference to a low temperature alarm. The alarm was activated by an employee leaving a freezer door open.
