Despite a 1-3 start to the 2019 season, Georgia Southern Football has won their past two games with overtime victories against South Alabama and Coastal Carolina. The Eagles currently sit at 3-3.

While they are not bowl eligible yet, they are projected to make some bowls according to national media.
