Today in the Russell Union Ballroom at 11:30 a.m. was a celebration called Eid al-Adha which marks the beginning of Hajj, a religious obligation that every Muslim must fulfill in their lifetime by taking a trip to Mecca. Today is the most important day of the holiday.
Hanouf Al’ Ahmadi is a student from Saudi Arabia.
“This event is open to all people of all religious, anyone who is interested in the culture. I have prepared a traditional dish from Saudi Arabia known as ‘Kasba,'” Ahmadi said.
