After three and a half quarters, Georgia Southern retook the lead over Minnesota with Rashad Byrd returning a fumble 44 yards to give the Eagles a 32-28 lead with 3:47 left in the game.

Just over three minutes later, TCF Bank Stadium erupted after a Tyler Johnson touchdown sealed a 3-0 start for the Golden Gophers.

Before the home team won though, Twitter had a lot to say about the Eagles’ scoop and score and near upset.
