Two arrests made in deadly Stadium Walk shooting

STATESBORO — Statesboro Police has arrested two people who had connection with the deadly shooting at Stadium Walk apartments Sunday morning.
At 1:47 a.m., SPD officers were dispatched to the apartment complex after a male had been shot. The victim, identified as 27-year-old Dexter Dunbar of Sylvania, Georgia, was transported to East Georgia Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
After an investigation, detectives arrested 22-year-old Brendyn Carter, of Sylvania, and 20-year-old Thomas Cooper, of Sylvania. Both were charged with murder.
Carter and Cooper are still incarcerated at the Bulloch County Jail.
