Women’s basketball center transfers to Bellarmine

Former redshirt-freshman forward/center Alisha Owens has transferred from Georgia Southern to play basketball at Bellarmine University, announced Wednesday.

Owens played in 24 games during the 2018-19 season- starting six. The 6-foot forward/center averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. She also shot 46.2% from the floor as she averaged 15.8 minutes per game.

According to Bellarmine Athletics, Owens will have three years of eligibility in Kentucky.
