So as everyone knows, the newest Star Wars: the Force Awakens trailer came out a few weeks ago. Fandango crashed from the amount of tickets purchased online. But that is not the only trailer that was recently released for the upcoming movie. Another trailer was released in Japan. Here are just a few of the fantastic things we learned from the trailers.
1. J.J. Abrams, the director, is going back to the best parts of the original trilogy which includes puppetry, costumes, and robots.

See that adorable looking ball? That is BB-8 and it is an actual remote control robot following around Rey, played by Daisy Ridley
2. Kylo Ren, the villain, is absolutely terrifying and has a thing for Darth Vader, the OG Star Wars villain.

Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver, is seen here torturing Poe Dameron, played by Oscar Isaac, which really sets how much of a villain he is. And well, Dameron looks pretty terrified.
3. The shots in the trailer alone are breathtaking.

I mean, come on, look at this. The cinematography is getting a major overhaul compared to the prequels.
4. The Millennium Falcon is still the best hunk of junk spaceship in the galaxy.

Han Solo’s ship has lasted three films and is still flying like there is no tomorrow.
5. FINN IS IN A LIGHTSABER FIGHT WITH KYLO REN
via GIPHY
Finn, played by John Boyega, is shown here preparing to fight Kylo Ren in the middle of a snowy forest. Do I even need to explain why that is amazing??
6. The Empire, the major villains, destroy Rey’s village.

TIE fighters, the Empire’s starfighters, are shown descending on Rey’s planet Jakku.
via GIPHY
The stormtroopers, foot soldiers for the Empire, then proceed to burn down the buildings and kill anyone that they see.
7. Kylo Ren captures or chooses not to kill Rey
via GIPHY
Kylo Ren is shown holding his lightsaber to Rey’s neck in a jungle somewhere. So that’s pretty intense.
8. C3PO is back and he has a red arm
via GIPHY
So C-3PO, a droid made in the first prequel movie and who has been in every Star Wars movie, is seen with a new red arm.
9. Chewbacca loves explosives
via GIPHY
What looks like an Empire’s ship, Chewbacca sets off explosives that do major damage to the ship. Just Chewy being Chewy.
10. BB-8 has seen some things.
via GIPHY
This little ball has seen some stuff and some things. BB-8 has a major role in the Japanese trailer and is a major friend to Rey.
