Statesboro Chick-fil-a set to reopen July 18
July 12, 2019
After months of being closed, Chick-fil-a will return to Statesboro on Thursday, July 18th.
The long awaited reopening of the new and improved Chick-fil-a on Northside Drive will be at 6 a.m.
The Northside Drive location, originally built in 1966, has been under reconstruction by Ellis Wood Contracting since March 22nd. The contractors demolished the old building and started the reconstruction on a dirt pile four months ago.
The revamped building’s front doors are set facing Aspen Dental. The layout is an open-concept dining room with high-top tables, traditional tables, and community tables for larger parties. The building will feature the newest interior design and decor package available.
“It is always my pleasure to offer our guests a great product in a family-friendly environment. I hope our guests will be excited about this state-of-the-art restaurant,” Statesboro owner/operator David Boykin said. “I believe that this new opportunity will create remarkable experiences for all who come in contact with my team and we appreciate the opportunity to serve our community.”
The new restaurant is 1,000 square feet larger and features a brand new drive-through that will allow customers to order, pay, and receive their food without interacting with traffic. A canopy will cover cars in the drive-through, allowing an easier experience during inclement weather.
Children will have access to the new indoor playground and an outdoor seating area is also available near the front entrance for customers.
“The new restaurant will provide opportunity for some fun new experiences for our team and our customers,” said Elizabeth Kingery, marketing director of Statesboro Chick-fil-a. “We plan to be doing a lot more on the CFA One mobile app and encourage our customers to download it. When you order on the app, you will build points and earn rewards for free Chick-fil-A.”
The CFA One mobile app is available for all Android and iPhone users.
