Delta Phi Epsilon is fundraising for The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, or ANAD, this week.
ANAD is a non-profit corporation that promotes the awareness, prevention and recovery of eating disorders. Delta Phi Epsilon will be at the Russell Union Rotunda until 2 p.m. today. Students will be able to “trash their insecurities” by writing them on a piece of paper, throwing it away and letting it go.
“[People] have gone to get help after we’ve done this because they realized that they weren’t alone. It wasn’t something they had to hide anymore,” Janie Malson, junior English major, said.
