Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi, a band sorority and fraternity are outside of the Foy building today to sell wings and fries for $6, funnel cakes for $3 and fried oreos for $1. The money goes towards the band to help pay for their music. This fundraiser will also help fund their last game cookout after their last halftime performance of the year.
Brandon Shinholster, a junior exercise science major, said that this was Kappa Kappa Psi’s first year being on campus. “There are 10 founding fathers who helped bring this charter to Georgia Southern. We’re out here today to promote who we are.”
“A new year brings new change,” says Meechie Jackson, a junior information technology major. “We’ve never done something like this before and I’ve never seen people sell wings, so it’s good to see us out here getting our name out.”
