The Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement & Georgia Southern University Alternative Breaks program are holding an annual spaghetti dinner called, “Christmahanakwanzika!”
On Monday, November 17 at 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Russell Union Ballroom C, be prepared to stuff your face with a big amount of spaghetti, salad and bread. There will be entertainment, activities, laughs and of course food. The tickets are $5 and can be purchased in the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement.
The spaghetti dinner proceeds go toward the Alternative Break trips to raise money for students so that the price is reasonable to give students an opportunity to serve the community.
Chasity Thompson, student assistant at the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, said, “This is an opportunity for students to network with other students about different trips and helps build a bond similar to family.”
