It is V.A.L.U.E.S. week on Georgia Southern University’s campus. This campaign is to raise awareness about sexual assault, and today the Student Government Association is at the Russell Union Rotunda asking for GSU students’ feedback about the campus.
“It is on us to stop sexual assault,” Azell Francis, SGA president said.
Today SGA is passing out free snacks and juice boxes to entice people to give feedback either good or bad about GSU’s campus. Tuesday they will be hosting an open mic night at 7 p.m. in the Russell Union and Wednesday SGA will be hosting a meeting in room 1004 in the IT Building about ethical behavior with special guest Dean Jackson.
Other organizations are having opportunities to support V.A.L.U.E.S. week. For more details on what is going on this week go to www.georgiasouthern.edu/values.
