Campus Crusades (CRU) handed out free hot chocolate today at the Russell Union rotunda from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
CRU is an on campus ministry and wants to give students more information about their organization and how they can participate in the ministry. “We have students from all different kind of Christian backgrounds. So you can be Methodists, Episcopalian, or not know and come and be apart of our ministry.” Maria Lindsey, intern for GSU CRU said.
The on-campus ministry has many activities coming up that they would like students to attend. They have weekly worship service every Tuesday at 8 a.m. located at Pittman Park Methodist Church, a dating panel on Wednesday January 28 at 6 p.m. in the Russell Union Theater, and if you are a freshman, a bonfire on Thursday, January 22 at 7 p.m. in Planters Row.
“At our worship services, we have speakers to come and talk about different topics. At the dating panel, we talk about out experiences with dating and how our faith plays into that.” Maria Lindsey said.
