The Dyversion dance team is hanging out inside the Russell Union today until 2 p.m. They are raising money for uniforms, props and other set pieces for their dance routines. Their first routine is called Gala and is being hosted by the Black Student Alliance.
“Dyversion is a team that practices diverse variations of dance,” Keiondra Jackson, choreographer and junior exercise science major, said.
They dance to hip hop, jazz and many other different types of music. However, it is not all about the music, they are a family that dances together, studies together and bonds together. The executive board for Dyversion even takes some of the new members under their wings, and mentors them throughout the semester.
Stop by their booth and help support them or even join the team.
