Representatives from the Center for Sustainability are outside at the Rotunda today looking to inform people about sustainable living. The Center for Sustainability brings many notable speakers to campus, like Richard Lourve, the author of “The Last Child in the Woods.”
Events such as Recyclemania and Greenfest are just a couple that are sponsored each year.
“Recyclemania is an intercollegiate competition to see what school can produce the most recycled material,” Dan Turner, senior general studies major, said.
The organization is also connected to the Green Ambassadors and they have meetings every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in Herty Building room 1101.
