Sigma Lambda Gamma wants you! SLG is a multicultural sorority, all about empowering women. The sorority has been active on campus since 2013. They do a multitude of community service projects and are all about academics.

“We really like to get out and empower women to feel like they can accomplish anything,” Dayhana Silva, Vice-President of recruitment, said.

If you want to get more information on Sigma Lambda Gamma, they have an informational meeting on Monday, Feb. 9 in the Russell Union from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in room 2044. On Feb. 10, the sorority is hosting their event “Operation Holiday Cards: Valentine’s Day Edition.”

“It’s like an inspirational card we’re going to give out to the public to make them feel better throughout the day,” Dayhana Silva said.
