Come out to the Russell Union Rotunda to enjoy bake sweets created by the Pastry Project. The Pastry Project meets once a week, circulating from Tuesday to Wednesday from 11 p.m. to 2 p.m. to sell home made baked goods.
“I started this project because I love baking goods, and I wanted to donate to Wounded Warrior Project because it’s a great organization that helps wounded soldiers with PTSD”, The Pastry Project President Bailey Webster said.
All profits go to the Wounded Warrior Project. This week theme is love and romance for the upcoming holiday Valentines Day. They have a variety of bakes goods such as red velvet cupcakes, sugar cookies and decorated Rice Krispy treats. Bring your sweetheart to decorate your very own sugar cookie.
Next week’s theme will be Mardi Gras.
“I joined the Pastry Project because my dad is apart of the Wounded Warriors Project”, Hailee Welker, freshman biology major, said.
The price for the baked goods ranges from $1 to $2.
