Southern African American Sisterhood, or SAAS, is at the rotunda today selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Single doughnuts are $0.75, and a half a dozen boxes is $6.
“We are promoting sisterhood and women development through academics or just through our personal lives and how to handle certain situations in our lives and overall how to be better women in our community,” Ronika Daye’Hare, the fundraising chair for SAAS, said.
Also, to help students out on this warm day, SAAS is selling bottled water for $1. The money collected with this fundraiser is going toward their organization for their upcoming events this year.
If you want to be apart of SAAS, look on the ‘My Involvement’ link on Folio to get an overview of the organization. Students are welcome to come to their bi-weekly meetings on Mondays at 7 p.m. in the IT building in room 3202.
