Lance Robinson, from Mitchell County High School, committed to Georgia Southern via Twitter late Saturday night.

At the end of his junior year of high school, he was honored with first team All-Region.

Robinson, a 6-foot-4 guard, received offers from Troy, Georgia State, and Coastal Carolina, among others.

“I just got a great family feel from the players and the coaching staff, “ he said of his decision. “I caught a nice little vibe from the environment. I’m truly blessed to be in this position.”

Robinson plans to major in engineering and was impressed by the GS engineering program.
