If you go by the Russell Union Rotunda today, you’ll probably notice a really long line and will most likely wonder what is going on.
The Residence Hall Association (RHA), is giving away free tickets to see Avengers: Age of Ultron, the sequel to Avengers. You must live on campus to be able to receive a ticket, though.
“It is a long awaited sequel to the previous one, and it is pretty cool because we get to see it for free.” Daniel Walsh, a freshman civil engineering major said.
“RHA sent a survey to all students who live on campus to ask their top choices for an end of the year event, and seeing a movie was the top choice!” Briana Daughtery, the president of RHA, said.
When asking how students heard about the giving of free tickets to see this movie, all of them said emails.
“It is all about the emails,” said Avery Roney, a freshman geology major. Emails help the word get out about different events and RHA obviously did a good job in advertising this one.
RHA will host another ticket pickup on April 27 at 12 p.m. in the Russell Union Commons.
The showing of Avengers: Age of Ultron will be April 30, at 7 p.m. Transportation will be provided by GSU Parking and Transportation.
